Douglas, Europe’s leading enterprise for perfumes, has selected mobile marketing and payment services provider valuephone to launch checkout couponing as new marketing service at the point of sale. Customer, using the Douglas-Card, can get coupons on the purchase. The paper-based coupons are valid for the next purchase and are offered in combination with special promotions.

Douglas, Europe’s leading enterprise for perfumes, has selected mobile marketing and payment services provider valuephone to launch checkout couponing as new marketing service at the point of sale. Customer, using the Douglas-Card, can get coupons on the purchase. The paper-based coupons are valid for the next purchase and are offered in combination with special promotions.

Douglas is another large, international retailer which selected the German software company valuephone as technology provider for loyalty programs. The new customer Douglas has an important multiplier role for the white label enterprise solution of valuephone. Only in October, valuephone has opened its loyalty platform to all retailers. Retailers can get access to the platform’s interfaces. Both, platform-based couponing and mobile payment, can be offered as white-label enterprise solution and is a new part in the software specialist’s portfolio. Due to the white label concept, the loyalty services can easily be integrated in existing loyalty programs or shopping apps.

The checkout couponing at Douglas will be offered in Germany only, as first step. Douglas is represented in 18 countries and has more the 10 million Douglas Card-customers in Europe at present. The Douglas Card exists already since 1995. As leading innovator, the pioneer shapes the market with social media strategies, online and mobile shops, as well as manifold offerings in the area of electronic and mobile commerce.
